Who Can Join
Sea Scout Ship Tsunami is open to youth ages 14–20. While we are currently a young men's crew, we are actively transitioning into a fully inclusive co-ed Family Ship by 2027—and girls are welcome to start inquiring and signing up anytime during the transition process!
No prior boating experience is required. We welcome motivated young men and women who are ready to take the helm, learn seamanship, build lifelong leadership skills, and embark on maritime adventures as part of a strong, unified crew.
This ship is a great fit for scouts who:

What To Expect
Sea Scouts is about more than seamanship — we build leaders. Through teamwork, real-world challenges, and meaningful responsibility, our scouts develop confidence, resilience, and skills that last far beyond the shoreline.
As a member of Ship Tsunami, scouts will:

Participate in local outings and extended cruises
